Navarre Fishing Guide / South Again Charters / 26 June 2013

Another flat, hot day on the Gulf and more beautiful great Snapper fishing. Today the Flowers gagng and I headed offshore, I decided to go a different direction than I have been fishing most of the year and it payed off really well. We caught tons of nice Snapper today. Amberjack on light tackle, Mangrove Snapper, Mingo Snapper and LAnes. We also lost a couple giant Snapper that we hooked up near the surface but just couldn't get em turned. Thanks again Guys for fishing with me and I will see you again next year.

Navarre red Snapper / South Again Charters / 23 June 2013

Where do I start describing the adventure we had today?... I guess with any great story you have to start at the beginning. Today was the 1st Annual (Tournaments 4 Chix) Snapper Smack down. The hired Guns were myself, Capt. Tyler Manning, Capt. Tim LAnd, Capt. Corey Maxwell and Capt. Jeremey Hogue. Each Cpatain had a cuss jar and a spreadsheet showing the dollar value of every cuss word you can imagine. The plan, try to catch the biggest Snapper and make your Lady anglers cuss a BUNCH!!! We all headed out the Pass and caught some live bait and decided to head on out and get our Snapper. After a little longer than usual ride we got to the spot we were all gonna fish together and started boating Red Snapper and Mangrover Snapper fairly quickly~ Thats when it got good, two large storms were forming and headed our way. With already borderline seas for bayboats we turned em North and started hauling it back to the Pass in a very stiff wind a bulding sea. We made it back to the bay and went back to work. 1st stop in the bay and Capt. Tim LAnd boats a 16lb Snapper that ended up winning the tournament and every one else was able to finish off their full limit on Bay Snapper. An amazing day on the water with some awesome Lady Anglers and a handful of great Guides! Thanks to Hallie Burnett for putting this awesome event together and we look forward to more!

Navarre Red Snapper / South Again Charters / 22 June 2013

Not what we had planned but it worked out anyway! We had planned on heading out a few miles into the Gulf and catching our Snapper but with the 2nd day of the howling East winds we decided to try and make it happen in the Bay! We were very lucky even witht the stiff east winds and crazy boat traffic we still managed to catch our limit of Bay Snapper with a 12lb kicker. Add in a nice Gag Grouper and you have yourself a pretty good day of Inshore fishing! Thanks again to the Goseen crew for putting up with me for a day of fishing and I can't wait to fish with you Guys again soon.

Navarre Deep Sea / 12 June 2013 / South Again Charters

Hey Guys gonna make this report short and sweet... kinda tired! Two great trips today, both targeting Snapper. We had a great two boat trip this morning with good Friend of mine Capt. Shawn Mistovich of PM3 charters. we quickly caught a two boat limit of ARS and some really nice Black Snapper to boot.

Afternoon trip was a little sloppy so we slowly eased our way out to the spot and were once again lucky enough to find em biting! Snapper fishing has been really good...

All fish are being caught on frozen Menhaden and butterflied Ruby Lips and White Snapper. Seems like the fish are very responsive to chum and will come with in range of a freelined bait as well!

Navarre Fishing Guide \ South Again Charters \ 10 June 2013

Rain, sleet, hail or snow.... Hallie wasn't gonna let me say no!! Today I was joined by a good client and great Friend Hallie. She had plans of trying to place a fish in the Pensacola Beach Marina Snapper tourney.

With big seas and local storms we decided to stay in the Bay and hope to find a gem. We fished hard and caught a ton of nice Snapper but couldn't find a 18lber to be able to beat the big boats out for the daily award. We did how ever manage to catch several fish over 8 lbs and two close to 10 for Hallie to take home. Another great trip with Hallie and more proof that there are some great Snapper in our bays!!

Navarre Fishing / South Again Charters / 7 June 2013

The Hendrix Family made the trip back to Pcola this year and decided to fish with me again. I am very glad they did.... we had a great trip. We ran a few miles out in the Gulf to start and caught a quick limit of Snapper, including one 14lber.

We then hauled butt back inside the Bay and caught 4 keeper Flounder and 3 legal Black Snapper and 8 Redfish that were all a little bit to short to keep.

Great day on the water with a great Family! Thanks for fishing with me again Guys and I hope to see you again this Fall!

Navarre Red Snapper | South Again Charters | 5 June 2013

Due to high seas and high winds we were unable to make it out in the Gulf today. We decided to fish for 4 hours and see what we could come up with anyway. A nice limit of BAy Snapper and a few nice kickers made the Allen Group very happy this morning!

Thanks George and Bev for hiring me again as your Guide and I look forward to seeing you again!

Navarre Deep Sea | South Again Charters | 4 June 2013

Great couple of trips today! My morning trip I was joined my Mr. and Mrs Jones for a 6 hour Snapper trip... We caught tons of really nice snapper and a nice black snapper kicker... The fun was when we decided to start shark fishing and hooked a 50+ lb King Mackerel on a 706z Spinning reel.

That is to date the biggest King I have ever been a part of catching. Amazing day on the water with two super fun people. I really hope to see you again soon.

*The King mack weighed 48lbs at GBBT after laying on the floor of the boat in the sun for two hours. My good Buddy Capt. Tyler Manning caught this fishes identical twin 15 minutes after we landed this one*

************************************************** *******
This afternoon I ran a two boat trip with my good Buddy Capt. Tyler Manning of Flat Out Charters. We ran back to the area we had both fished in the morning and had a great trip. It was very rough this afternoon but the fish did not seem to mind at all. We managed a two boat limit of ARS and managed some triggers, whites and Mingos too.

Another great group and another great trip!
